Kids will enjoy seeing the storybook characters in the Lacerte Family Children’s Zoo, and you can work off the trick-or-treats with Witch-ercise and a “Monster Mash” with Witchy DJ. read more

KOESTER'S KITCHEN

1 lb. bulk sage sausage or your favorite sausage

1 15oz. can cannellini beans, drained

1 12 oz. pkg. frozen winter squash puree thawed

1 cup chunky style chipotle salasa or other salsa

1-1/2 cups water

1 3.5oz pkg herb
flavored goat cheese

Fresh sage (optional

A Delicious Fall Treat!
In a large saucepan cook sausage over medium heat until brown, stirring to break up, drain fat. Stir in beans, squash, salsa, and water. Bring to boiling, reduce heat. Simmer, uncovered for 10 minutes stirring occasionally. Serve in bowls and spring with goat cheese and fresh sage. Makes 4 servings. Enjoy!
